the story of my guinea pigs.

we got rascal and Helmer from a good friend of my dads who interestingly enough is my doctor. we got them as a early Christmas present for our first pet.

rascal when I was in the proses of naming my guinea pig rascal I was suck on finding a name but with his gray and white spotted fur and since when we would let him lose he would run I finally named him rascal

Helmer since Helmer was my older brothers guinea pig I don’t know much about his naming proses. all I know is since he was black he got named off of the current book series he was reading the green ember by s. d. smith and one of the characters was all black(in the reach me section please correct me if Helmer was all black)

Helmer died of pneumonia from eating my sisters hair brush. rascal just died a peaceful death of old age it was difficult for me to take in because I was in Iowa and it was 4 days before my 11th birthday. I will never forget rascal and Helmer

the story of my cats.

my Family got shadow and cookie from a friend who recently just found them dumped on the side of the road. after we saw them we fell in love with them and decided to keep them.

shadow’s name came from a neighbor cat which we named (without permission) shadow. he(or she) soon moved away so we named our shadow to remember the shadow that moved away.

cookie crumb we named her cookie crumb because she is a tabby cat and tabby cats sort of look like cookies. the crumb part of the name is because when we got the cats they were small and skinny and a crumb is a small and skinny segment of a cookie.

one summer when we were in a long trip our cats ran away. we could not the cats for weeks. shadow was found at a house a couple miles away. the only reason we found her is because the people who found her had the cats chip scanned and that lead them back to my family. cookie crumb is a deferent case she is still to be found although she has been gone for over a year we will never forget her we love shadow and cookie
